We have received information from High Commission of India in Maldives today, regarding 5th Edition of Vacations Expo 2024, which is going to be held in  Hulhumalé Central Park, Maldives from 25th to 27th April 2024.

 

As per information from High Commission of India in Maldives, this event is mainly catered for outbound tourism from the Maldives. India is a preferred destination for Maldivians travelling outside, especially for Medical Tourism. They usually travel to Kochi, Thiruvanathpuram, Bengaluru, Delhi and Ladkah for tourism. This will provide an opportunity to showcase other exotic venues.

 

Below are the stall space (bare space) prices with participation for 3 days, with complimentary media coverage:

Sub: Regarding 17th Tehran International Tourism and Related Industries Exhibition (TITE)

This is further to our email sent to you on 27th December 2023 on the above subject.  We have been informed by the Embassy that they have been informed by the organizers of 17th Tehran International Tourism and Related Industries Exhibition (TITE 2024) to this Embassy, the expenses associated with acquiring raw space and the registration fee have been waived. However, there is a charge of 50 Euros per square meter for exhibition services plus booth construction fee (depends on the design), in addition to a 9% tax and the minimum space is 12 sqm. 

Embassy requests appropriate participation from your association in the above mentioned event. Indian Tour Operators who wish to participate should keep this Embassy informed so that embassy can provide any further assistance if needed. Sub: Tourism Promotion Seminar between India - Coastal Provinces of Vietnam, 20-22 December, 2023.

 

It is to inform you that the Indian Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in association with the provinces of Binh Thuan and Ba Ria Vung Tau, is planning to organize two Tourism Promotion Seminar between India – Coastal Provinces of Vietnam in Phan Thiet City (Binh Thuan province) and Ba Ria Vung Tau City from 20 to 22 December 2023. Both the events will be attended by local tour operators, and hospitality industries  apart from senior government officials. The objective is to develop a connection between tour operators on both sides.

The Consulate warmly extends an invitation to our members to participate in this two-day event. Tentative programme of the event is attached.

 

IATO has been requested to identify 5 tour operators who wish to participate as part of the tourism delegation from India.

 

Members attending the seminar will need to make their own arrangement for  their international flight tickets and domestic flights tickets in Vietnam, both provinces will provide local accommodation, meals and local transport.

•           Members who wish to attend need to make their own arrangements for Travel from India to Vietnam and back and domestic air tickets in Vietnam.  

•           Only one person from each company MD/Director/Owner/GM/Decision Maker will be considered for participation.

•           Maximum 5 members will be registered for this event. If more than 5 names are received, it will be decided by draw of lot.

•           Members who are selected need to apply for visa and share the details with the Indian Consulate after the names are sent to Indian Consulate by IATO.

Subject: Invitation for FITUR Participation to be held from 24th to 28th January 2024 in Madrid, Spain.

 

Dear Sir / Madam,

 

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India is planning to participate at the FITUR 2024 to be held in Madrid from the 24th to 28th January, 2024 and invites to participate as co-exhibitors within the India Pavilion being set up to showcase the varied tourism destinations and products of the country.

 

2.         The FITUR is the premier international travel related events, which provides an effective platform for networking and meetings with executives and leaders from all segments of the Tourism Industry, worldwide. It also provides excellent opportunity for showcasing and sourcing new products and services and to learn about the latest international trends and patterns affecting tourism to various regions. The participants include National / Regional tourist organizations, tourist attractions, tour operators, transport operators, hotels, airlines, cruise liners, railways, technology and communications and other travel related services. The visitors profile mainly consists of tour operators, travel agents, group travel organizers, etc., providing ample opportunity for promoting tourism related products and services. The Ministry of Tourism is planning a series of sessions on various themes during FITUR 2024.

 

3.         You are invited to participate in the above exhibitions by booking space in the India Pavilion on a cost-sharing basis with a view to marketing your tourism destinations and products. The participation fee in the India Pavilion at FITUR 2024 will be conveyed in due course. The space will be offered to co-exhibitors on a first come first served basis.

 

4.         The India Pavilion will have a common decor/ theme and all co-exhibitors in the India Pavilion will be provided fully built up booths / stalls, with provision for display of publicity material only within their own booths/ stalls. The minimum booth / stall space is 04 sq. mtrs. and in the event additional space is required, the same will be at a multiple of 04 sq. mtrs.

 

5.         You are requested to kindly confirm your participation at the earliest and not later than 04th December 2023, along with your space requirement.     Danish Travel Fair is one of the prominent travel exhibitions held every year in Herning, 

Denmark. International tour operators, destination management companies, international 

airlines and other tourist organisations attend this event in a big way to promote their 

respective tourist destinations to the Danish and north-European countries. The Danish Travel 

Fair 2023 is being held from 24-26 February 2023. It may be mentioned that in year 2019, 

Embassy had organised a booth promoting tourism destinations in India at the Danish Travel 

Fair, sponsored by Air India.  

2.  The Embassy has reserved a stall (measuring 4x4 sq. meter) at the Danish Travel Fair 

2023. During the fair, we will have opportunity to showcase India's tourist destinations, 

advertise India's rich heritage on billboards, attend talk shows and cultural performances, etc. 

Danish population, in general, is traveller by nature and during the summer, they always go 

out of country to explore global tourist destination. They generally prefer to visit tourist 

destinations covering wildlife, desert, mountains and ocean beaches. The fair will bring an 

opportunity for the Embassy to introduce our tourist attractions to the larger Danish and 

European population.    

3.  It is requested that Ministry may kindly guide the Mission to optimally utilise the 

opportunities at the fair. Making available information brochure, pamphlets and other 

promotional materials, sending destination management companies from Rajasthan, Kerala, 

Goa, north-east states and Himalayan states could be considered.

2. I am writing to you regarding the forthcoming International Mediterranean Tourism 

Market (IMTM) which has been scheduled to be held at Expo Tel Aviv on 14-15 February 

2023. After COVID19, the IMTM had resumed earlier this year with the 'in-person' event 

held on 28-29 March 2022 wherein we only had participation from Kerala State with a 

dedicated booth. In the next edition, the Embassy looks forward to facilitate a much larger 

presence from India. 

3. I am enclosing the material received from the organizers of IMTM, which would be helpful 

for India Tourism and our State tourism teams for planning their presence and tourism 

outreach in Israel at this region’s premier and professional Tourism exhibition. As there is 

sufficient time for the exhibition, we look forward to connect our teams with the organizers to 

firm up an impactful presence at the IMTM with necessary pre-preparations. There are 

opportunities to hire booth or advertisement space including in the IMTM catalogues. Further

Sub: Indo- Russian Travel & Tourism Fair is scheduled to be held  from 29th November 

to 01 December 2022 in Thiruvananthapuram 

 

 

Dear Friends,  

Indo- Russian Travel & Tourism Fair 2022 is going to be held  from 29th November to 01 

December 2022 in Thiruvananthapuram. It is a joint initiative by the Indo-Russian Trvel and 

Tourism Forum of the Russian Cultural Centre in Thiruvananthapuram and the Honorary 

Consulate of Russia in Kerala along with the Department of Tourism, Govt. of Kerala. 

The idea is to create a platform for B-TO-B discussions for the sellers in Kerala (hotel/ resort 

owners, Ayurveda centres, house boats and inbound tour operators from Russia) and buyers 

(tour operators from Russia who promote India). The Travel and Tourism Fair helps the 

Indian Sellers to meet future business partners/ tour operators who send Russian tourists to 

India. 

There will be stalls of different sizes, and the hotels and stakeholders can display their 

products by exhibiting posters and screening videos. Discussions can be arranged at the stalls.

the India Pavilion with a view to marketing their products. The participation fee in the

Under 3T initiatives of GOI, Embassy of India, Bucharest regularly promoting India 

Tourism Promotion actives. We have hosted two India tourism promotion campaign in 

Romania- in Cluje and in Bucharest, our next campaign will start in October in 

Bucharest. Even in public transport in Bucharest for month in July, we made full one 

month tourism campaign. We are also using our social media platform to promote 

Indian tourism.  

  

On 1st Sep, we hosted the India Romania Tourism Forum in Bucharest in hybrid form,  

Approx 30 Romanian tour operators joined the event physically and approx. 40 Indian 

tour operators attended the event online. 

  

About Indian Embassy joining Romexpo Tourism Fair in November 2022, we are in 

touch with organizer, but we have not received any response from India about the fund.  

  

I talked today with organizing  from Romexpo, registrations can still be made but only 

for small spaces of 9 square meters, participation in the event for this space is 1800 

euros + VAT and includes the space furnished with walls and carpeting, access to 

electricity and 1 (one) free side in front of the space. the registration deadline is 31 

September.

 This is to inform you that the 28th OTDYKH International Tourism Expo will take place in 

Moscow, Russia on September 13-15, 2022 in Expocenter. 

 

2.  OTDYKH is one of the two major tourism exhibitions of Russia held annually in Moscow 

to facilitate business contacts in the tourism market. 

 

3.  This year, 450 participants from 40 regions of Russia and 20 countries of the world are 

expected to participate in OTDYKH. 

 

4.  As informed by the organisers, booth may be rented at EUR 355 per sq. m. Registration 

fee is EUR 400-500. (detailed quotations  and floor plan provided by the organisers is 

attached) 

 

5.         It is recommended if Tourism Office, Frankfurt can participate in the said exhibition.

This is to inform that the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India is organising Incredible India Roadshows in the US & Canada and Africa in June and July 2019 respectively as per following schedule:

July 01, 2019 (Monday)           - Roadshow in Johannesburg.

July 03, 2019 (Wednesday)      - Roadshow in Durban

July 05, 2019 (Friday)              - Roadshow in Port Louis

2. IATO has been asked by Ministry of Tourism to recommend the names of our members who wish to participate in the road shows.

3. Please note the following:-

       1. All arrangements and expenses i.e. air ticket, hotels and local transport etc. will have to be made by the participating                    members directly at their own cost.

       2. Only one person from each company will be allowed to participate. 

       3. Members are allowed to send any employee or sales representative from India. These trips are meant only for                  companies headquartered in India. No overseas representative who is based outside India will be allowed to                  attend. IATO reserves the right to reject any application if it finds there is a conflict in purpose.

       4. Members who are recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and wish to participate in the                      above Road Shows, should forward their names along with a cheque of Rs. 20,000/- in favour of Indian                             Association of Tour Operators towards security deposit definitely by 21st May 2019                                                            indicating the road show you would like to join along with the following information:-

  • Name of the company
  • Name of the person (as in the passport) with Designation
  • Address, Telephone, Mobile, Email id, Website
  • Passport No.
  • Date of issue of passport
  • Place of issue of passport
  • Date of Expiry of passport

       5. No Refund will be made in case if participation is withdrawn after the name has been sent to the Ministry. However,                   cancellations due to force majeure in extreme cases may be considered by the EC.

       6. If there is any restriction in numbers for participation from the Ministry, participation will be decided by draw of lot for                   which date will be intimated.

2. It is requested that the list of will participants/co exhibitors for each fair except for ITB may be forwarded to us. A time bound action will help in advance booking (for best prices and locations) of the total space and better coordination with the team.

3. During the fairs, we will try to conduct presentations, talk shows, cultural activities and other promotional activities. The co exhibitors may come up with the soft copy of their material. Again we need to book slots timely which may again depend on the list of co exhibitors for different fairs.

 4. The cost of the booth will shared on later stages as the same depends on the total size of the stand, which could be booked once we know number of participants/co exhibitors with us.

5. The higher number of co exhibitors will help in reducing the participation fee and better rate for the place.  

6. The preference will always be given on first come first serve basis.

7.  A consolidated list from you would be of immense help.
