The ancient Indus Valley Civilization, its rich cultural heritage and the legacy it has left for our lives today, is the inspiration behind Indus Discoveries, a Destination Management Company in India, which was founded in June 2000 in New Delhi.

India is home to more than a billion souls. It is a veritable melting pot of races, cultures and religions, shaped by centuries of civilisations, migration, and foreign rule. You will find Buddhist monks in serene silence at an ancient monastery nestled on a Himalayan mountain in the lunar landscape of Ladakh; Hindu priests chanting hymns and lighting oil lamps on the stepped banks of the holy River Ganges in Varanasi; the Victorian churches in Goa; the unmistakable dome of Mughal architecture.
