Odyssey Tours & Travels Pvt Ltd has been operating inbound tours since 1986. We are Members of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) and Members of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI).
The company was founded by Hans Tuinman, a Dutch student of Anthropology, and his Indian wife Sucheta Potnis, a freelance writer who has contributed to many magazines and guidebooks, Indian and international.

In our beautiful office in Goa you find a team of passionate travelers who have travelled the length and breadth of the country to put together a hand-picked portfolio of exciting and unusual places to stay, in some of India's most beautiful locations.
For many years, we have scouted for heritage properties and in many places convinced the owners to open their homes to guests. Similarly, we have supported eco-friendly resorts in India which blend with the environment and give the travellers a more authentic experience.
In the early 90s we were the first tour company in India to use a yacht for tourism purposes. We based our `Solita’ in Goa and over the years she has drawn many guests from India and abroad who enjoyed cruising out to sea to spot the dolphins or explore the scenic backwaters on a sunset cruise (see our website www.solita.co.in).

We specialize in providing our services to foreign individual travellers, a special family group or just a group of travellers who want to get an insider's peek into this larger than life country.
We operate trips all over India, from the tranquil lakes of Kashmir to the bustling temple cities of South India, and from the deserts of Rajasthan to the backwaters of Kerala, and even the unexplored frontier of India in Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland.
As much as possible, we try and select hotels with great character which reflect the local specialty in craftmanship, architecture or fabrics. You will find that we generally do not have `mass produced' type of accommodation unless there is no choice in a particular place.
We also offer cruise options in Goan waters on the `Solita', a premium quality 42fr. motor yacht. You can charter the `Solita' on an hourly or daily basis. The yacht comes with a crew of four and when you charter the `Solita' you are free to take up to 27 guests on the yacht. The charter means that the cruise will be exclusively for you and your guests.

We will enable you to travel safely and securely to exciting corners of the Indian sub continent.
Honeymoon – This is the time to shoot for the moon: travel further, stay longer, eat more and bring home a lifetime’s worth of memories: Cruise the backwaters in Kerala on a luxurious houseboat, stay in atmospheric palace hotels in Rajasthan, find peace and quiet in a hill station of the time of the British Raj, or stay on one of India’s palm-fringed tropical beaches.
Group - Cycle through the Indian country?side, take jeep and elephant safaris through game parks, sit atop camels to see the desert, do whitewater rafting and sail along the holy Ganges to the ancient city of Varanasi. All the while you stay in wonderful hotels, some of them palaces and castles of erstwhile royal families others little private homes and lodges.
Eco and responsible tourism - Just an hour’s drive away from the bustling city of Jodhpur, is the small village of Chandelao. Here you will find no other tourists, and the place therefore offers a great chance to the see village life, interact with the local community, and to learn about the art, culture and heritage of Rajasthan.
Cruises and boat tours – It is time to experience the vacation of a lifetime aboard a luxury, all-inclusive, professionally crewed yacht in Goa, the `Solita’. Pilgrimage tours - Tamil Nadu, in south India, is a fascinating state full of ancient Dravidian architecture. Intricately crafted temples, rock carvings, and classical dance are some of the attractions. Starting at the beach side retreat of Mamallapuram, you relax in the historic `French' town of Pondicherry before exploring the main temple cities of Thanjavur, Trichy and Madurai.
