In consideration of Government guidelines and orders, a handful of states have allowed the opening up of more activities outside containment zones and announced the partial reopening of schools. Amidst the economic downturn, governments across the world are considering the idea of a “travel bubble” to revitalize their tourism sectors. “Travel bubbles” are an agreement between countries or regions within a country that allows for travel across borders for non-essential trips without the requirement of a 14-day quarantine upon arrival. The goal is to create safe passage for travel in an attempt to normalize economic activity.
The travel platforms have seen a spike in interest for destinations within India, especially Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, UP, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Goa, and many more states. Keeping up with this surge, they are providing all quality services such as sanitization of tourist areas, hotels, transport, private cabs, trains, health, and hygiene of the guests by all means.
Keeping the spirit going, IRCTC has come up with the idea of promoting domestic tourism across the length and breadth of India. IRCTC proposes to expand its base to various travel agents and tour operators through the accreditation of recognized associations like FAITH, ADTOI, IATO, etc. Presently, we are looking to have 5-10 best domestic sales agents in every 29 states and 7 UT of India. We will be contacting them one to one for the signing of the agreement with IRCTC. For this process, we require your support to provide us the contact details of all those tour operators and agents who have done better in past and are willing to get associated with IRCTC for domestic tourism promotion available on our portal www.irctctourism.com
Kindly send us the 10 x (29 states + 7 UT) = 360 domestic sales agents at first go, so that we can start following up with these agents. The concerned officers of IRCTC are listed below for one to one contact and signing of the agreement to get the ID and password accordingly. The commission will be on a cut and pay basis online. We are open to enrolling more and more agents in the future also.
