  _Dear Members, _

The IATO Interactive Meeting will be held on Saturday, the 3rd October
2020 at 4 pm on Zoom.

As per news appeared in various newspapers, Uttarakhand Government has
eased coronavirus norms for tourists. Uttarakhand Government has lifted
all travel restrictions and tourists will no longer need to produce
Covid-negative certificates to travel to the state. They just need to
register themselves on the web portal -
http://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in [1] - or
https://dsclservices.org.in/apply.php [2]  prior to their visit.
However,  guidelines like wearing masks, maintaining social distance,
thermal scanning and sanitization are however mandatory like the rest of
the country. In case a tourist is found COVID-19 positive, the hotel
authorities will have to inform the district administration and make
arrangements for testing, as directed by Union Health Ministry.

In order to get more clarity for the members doing domestic tourism, we
have invited Mr. Dilip Jawalkar (IAS), Secretary Tourism, Government of
Uttarakhand and Chief Executive Officer, UTDB to join us for the meeting
and interact with the members and Mr. Jawalkar has given his consent to
join for the above meeting.

Members are requested to attend in large numbers.  If you want to
