To All Members,

Sub: Your questions/queries on MSME to be sent to IATO by 5 pm on Friday, the 21st August 2020

Dear All,

As you are aware on IATO’s request, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India organised a Webinar at 1100 hours today, the 20th August 2020 on the topic “ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT – ISSUES CONFRONTING TOURISM & TRAVEL INDUSTRY”.

The webinar focused on issues related to MSME Sector & its classification, Registration Process for MSMEs, Credit / Finance Schemes of Ministry of MSME for Services sector, Public Procurement Policy etc.

The objective of this webinar was to provide information and guidance to the members on benefit from the various elements and schemes of MSME. The session was chaired by Shri. Devendra Kumar Singh, Additional Secretary & Development Commissioner, Ministry of MSME and was moderated by Mrs. Rupinder Brar, Additional Director General (Tourism), Government of India.

It was informed by Mr. Devendra Kumar Singh and Mr. Anand from MSME to Mrs. Rupinder Brar that Tourism Ministry has been asked to appoint a Nodal Officer between MoT and MSME and requested Mrs. Rupinder Brar to appoint a nodal officer who can forward all the queries from the Industry to Mr. Devender Kumar Singh to be further taken up with the concerned authorities/Ministry. We have accordingly informed Mrs. Rupinder Barar that we shall send her a comprehensive Questionnaire covering all queries, which our members want to have from MSME.

We are sure with the Webinar on MSME today, all our members got majority of the clarifications directly from the Officials from  MSME and it will be useful for tourism services sector. If in case do you feel that some questions are still to be answered then please feel free to write to IATO office.

Members are requested that whatever, questions/queries they want to have related to MSME, please send the same to IATO Office by 5 pm on 21st August 2020 on email id operations@iato.in and iato.circulars@gmail.com which we can consolidate and send to ADG (Tourism) for forwarding the same to MSME.

Please treat this as most urgent and important and revert by 5 pm on 21st August 2020.

Thanks and regards,
