Sub: IATO Elections 2020, Order by the Returning Officer

Dear IATO members,

I presided over a meeting of the IATO EC and all contestants on 29th June 2020.

The meeting was convened by me to take everyone's views on holding the IATO Elections in the shadow of COVID-19.

Everyone across the board was unanimous in asking for postponement of IATO elections. 

After hearing all opinions of the contestants, the following decisions were taken:-

• The IATO election process is hereby postponed till further notice.
• Another meeting will be scheduled for end September where an informed decision will be taken.
• IATO has received two proposals and will explore viability of conducting online elections.
• In the interim, the Office Bearers, EC and Chapter Chairmen of IATO are hereby allowed to work as normal with no restrictions.
