Dear Friends, Colleagues, Patrons and Members of the Law & Justice Committee,
 
COVID-19 is having an enormous impact on day-to-day arrangements affecting employment relationships. Issues such as payment of wages, lay-off, leave without pay, overriding agreement (with the union or workmen) and many other employment law related issues will need to be dealt with on a case-to-case basis, factoring in the impact of government orders and support.

In this backdrop, the Law & Justice Committee of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the International Bar Association, is organizing the 2nd PHDCCI Interactive Session on “The Law under Lockdown: Legal Consequences of COVID-19 on Employment Arrangements” on Monday, 20th April 2020 at 4:30 pm.

Our first Zoom Interactive session on Force Majeure and its effect on Commercial Contracts featured Hon’ble Justice Sanjeev Narula, Judge, Delhi High Court. At the time the session had a capacity limit of 500 and it was oversubscribed by twice that number.  A recording of that session will shortly be available on the PHDCCI website i.e. at www.phdcci.in
