Placed below please find an email received from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India regarding Facilitation of Visa Extension for Foreign Tourists from identified countries on account of
outbreak of Corona Virus.
The Commissioner of the Bureau of Immigration has informed that FRROs have been advised to facilitate extension of Visa for tourists from identified countries, currently in India
and not being able to leave India due to discontinuation of flights.

This is to inform that during the Video Conference Chaired by the Hon’ble Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India to discuss preparedness over the outbreak of Corona Virus, yesterday, the Commissioner of the Bureau of Immigration has informed that FRROs have been advised to facilitate extension of Visa for tourists from identified countries, currently in India and not being able to leave India due to discontinuation of flights.
