To All Members,

Sub: REGARDING RESUMING OF BOOKING OF SAFARIS AT RANTHAMBORE AND SARISKA

Dear Friends,

We were given to understand from the news appeared in national daily newspapers and through our members in Rajasthan that Safaris in Ranthambhore and Sariska will remain closed for the tourists from 16th to 31st March 2020 due to 11th World Wilderness Congress being organized from 19th to 26th March 2020.

The matter was immediately taken up by IATO with the Chief Minister of Rajasthan and with the highest authorities of Rajasthan Tourism, Wildlife & Forest Department and also with the Ministry of Tourism Government of India and mentioned that our members have pre-booked and confirmed Safaris in Ranthambhore and Sariska to their foreign clients months in advance and have made the advance payments. Accordingly itineraries have been made for their foreign clients and confirmations have been sent to them. All arrangements for their accommodation, transport, domestic air tickets, guides, sightseeing  etc. have been made and advances paid accordingly. Our members are very much worried that if we refuse our foreign tourists to provide the committed services it will not only give a bad name but also will tarnish the image of our country, our members may face legal complications and may have to pay heavy damages. News appeared in Rajasthan Patrika is attached.

We requested that all the advance bookings made for Ranthambhore and Sariska Safaris should be honoured and should not be cancelled. Also facility of current and Tatkal booking should be available.

You will be glad to know that with our aggressive follow up and also follow up by our Chapter Chairman in Rajasthan, Mr. Bhim Singh, our request has been favourably considered by the Rajasthan Government and the following decisions have been taken:-

“Advance booking of safaris at Ranthambhore and Sariska will resume from 2nd March 2020 10 AM Only 12 vehicles have been retained for Wild11 delegates and rest will be available for advance booking.
