Sub: World Travel Mart (WTM) 4th – 6th November 2019

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India is participating at the World Travel Market (WTM), to be held in London from 4th to 6th November 2019 and have invited the travel industry to participate as co-exhibitors in India Pavilion being set up to showcase the varied tourism destinations and products of the country.

IATO had taken up the matter with the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India to reduce the booth cost to ensure maximum participation from our members and especially to encourage small tour operators. Ministry has agreed to our requested and has fixed the cost of booth Rs. 2,00, 000/- for 4 sq. meter booth size compared to last year cost of Rs. 243566. This is despite the increase in space cost and construction of Pavillion.

With view to encourage participation of small and medium tour operators, MOT has also decided to set aside 3 booths of 4 sq. mtr. each for small (annual turnover of upto Rs. 5 Crore during FY 2017-18), 3 booths of 4 sq. mtr. each for small (annual turnover of above  Rs. 5 Crore and upto 10 crore) and 4 booths of sq. mtr each for those who have not participated in India Pavillion at WTM London during the last 2 editions (WTM 2017 & WTM 2018) and new comers.

Members who are interested should confirm their participation at the earliest and not later than 9th September, 2019, along with their space  to Ms. Kanchan  Kukrej, Assistant Director (Overseas Marketing), on e-mail:  kanchan.kukreja@gov.in .

Participation Fee is paid by agency, the same is non- refundable., in case the agency decides to withdraw its participation. Allotment of space and booth no. will be purely on lottery system and there will be no preferential allotment. Any request for space received after 9th September, 2019 will be considered with subject to availability.
