Sub: Renew Oceans & IATO in Varanasi for Ganga Clean up on 29th June 2019

Dear Friends,

Placed below please find an email received from Ms. Mallika Arya who runs an NGO called RENEW OCEANS. They are organizing Ganga Clean up in Varanasi on 29 June from 6 am – 7 am, which will be covered by National Geographic. Since Varanasi is very important for inbound tourists, IATO is supporting this event.

It will take place on Saturday, the 29th June 2019 from 6 am to 7 am opposite Dashashwamedh Ghat. National Geographic will be coming to film this clean up

It would be a great opportunity for the members to volunteer for clean ups and give back to the city and the river.

Members are requested to participate actively and send their staff and the tourists who are in Varanasi on 29 June to actively participate in this clean up campaign.
