This is just to inform you that Mrs. Rashmi Verma has taken over the charge as Secretary (Tourism). Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India today. She was earlier in the Ministry as Additional Director General (Tourism), Govt. of India and actively interacted with IATO and other stakeholders. She holds lot of experience about the central tourism activities and thus fully aware of the problems of the industry. She was also the Secretary (Tourism), Govt. of Bihar. Before taking over as Secretary (Tourism), she was Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India.

 

We are seeking an appointment with her for the EC to call on her.
