Dear Members, 

Sub: IATO Elections on Saturday, the 10th May 2025 at 11 AM at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi

This is to remind you of the IATO Elections scheduled to be held on Saturday, the 10th May 2025 at 1100 hours at The Ashok Hotel, (3rd Floor Banquet Hall), New Delhi.  Distribution of Ballot Papers would take place between 1100 hours to 1400 hours. Members are requested to reach in time so that election process can be started sharp at 1100 hours.  

The agenda for the Elections is as under: -  

  • 1030 hrs.    Tea Coffee
  • 1045 hrs      Registration
  • 1100 hrs     Returning Officer to start the election process
  • 1330 hrs      Lunch
  • 1400 hrs     Voting process to close
  • 1415 hrs     Counting of Votes. On completion, results to be declared by the Returning Officer followed by address by the new President.  

Please note the following:-

1. Ballot Papers to outstation Active Members have been sent and have been received by all the outstation members. Last date for receiving the Postal Ballots Papers from Outstation Members at the IATO Office is by 6 pm on 6th May 2025 in sealed envelope. 
2.Active Members in Delhi/NCR who are unable to cast their vote in person due to any reason, they can give proxy to a senior person from the same company/organization. On the Proxy Authority letter, signature of the proxy to be verified by the authorized signatory/representative of the company on the company letter head. A copy of ID proof and the visiting card should be attached with the proxy letter to cross verify at the time of elections. Proxy letter should reach the IATO Office by 6 pm on 6th May 2025 in sealed envelope.
3.All contestants are requested to cast their vote as soon as the election process begins.
4.Ballot Papers are to be ticked (√ ) in the box against the name to whom you want to vote for. Sample of ballot papers will be placed on the notice board.
5.Do not put any other mark or cross or over write on the Ballot Paper.  In such cases, the ballot paper for that post would be treated as invalid.
6. REPEAT TICK (√) in the box ON THE BALLOT PAPER as per number of posts mentioned i.e.
  1. For the post of Office Bearers, Tick (√) against only one candidate of your choice for each post. 
  2. For the post of EC Members (Active) - Tick (√) against only Five candidates.   
  3. For the post of EC Members (Allied) -  Tick (√) against only Three candidates.  

Note: - If ticking is done for more or less candidates, the ballot paper for that particular post will stand invalid and rejected.
