Dear Friends,

Sub: Invitation for FAM Tour of Rakhigarhi, District Hisar, Haryana  on 20-21 December 2024.

The Department of Archaeology and Museums in association with Haryana Tourism Corporation is organizing the Rakhigarhi Mahotsav from 20th to 22nd December, 2024. This initiative aims to highlight the rich heritage of the Harappan Civilization and establish Rakhigarhi as a premier tourist destination.

To promote and enhance the visibility of Rakhigarhi as a significant archaeological and cultural site, encouraging more tourists to explore its heritage, Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India (Northern Region) is inviting MOT approved tour operators, tourism media, Influencer and Youtubers to participate in the FAM Tour.

The tentative programme of the event is as under.

Day 1 – Friday, the 20th December 2024

0800 hrs  - Departure from Indiatiourism Delhi to Rakhigarhi, Hisar, Haryana by Bus

1230 hrs  - Arrival at Rakhigarhi and check in hotel of Haryana Tourism at Hisar, Haryana 

1300 – 1400 hrs   -   Lunch

1400 – 1700 hrs   -   Visit of Rakhigarhi

2000 – 2130 hrs   -   Networking Dinner. Night stay                                            

Day 2 - Saturday, the 21st December 2024 

0800 to 0900 hrs   -   Breakfast

0930 hrs    -   Dep. from Hisar to Delhi

IATO has been asked to nominate 10 members  to participate in the FAM Trip.

Kindly note the following:-

  1. Only one person from each company MD/Director/Owner/GM/Decision Maker will be considered for participation. 
  2. Maximum 10 members will be registered for this event on first come first serve basis. 
  3. Members who have not paid their annual subscription for the financial year 2024-25 will not be considered. 
  4. Member who are recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India will only be considered. 

Members who are interested, may send their expression of interest by 4 pm on Monday, the 16th December 2024 on email id operations@iato.in and iato.circulars@gmail.com with the following information : -

Note: Please note members, who have not paid their annual subscription for the financial year 2024-25 and are not recognized by the Ministry of Tourism will not be considered, hence they should not apply.
