Regarding higher guide fee being demanded by the guides in Mumbai

To, All Members,
Dear Friends,
Sub: Regarding higher guide fee being demanded by the guides in Mumbai
It has come to our knowledge that a group of guides in Mumbai have sent a jointly signed letter to our members (tour operators) demanding higher guide fee than the agreed guide fee between TGFI headed by its President Mr. Narendra Singh Rathore and IATO.
Please note IATO has not agreed to their whimsical and arbitrary decision of charging the exorbitant guide fee in Mumbai. The existing Guide rates agreed between IATO and TGFI will remain valid till 30th September 2025. (copy enclosed).
We have taken up the matter with the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India to take necessary action against such guides as the Guide rates are decided mutually between IATO and TGFI.
Guide Fee Structure.

In case if any of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India approved guide in Mumbai insists for higher guide fee than the agreed guide fee between IATO & TGFI and cancel the assignment or threaten to cancel the assignment, same may be brought to the notice of
