Sub: Time Limit for Advance Rail Reservation

Attached please find a copy of the circular no. 10 of 2024 issued by Railway Board, Ministry of Railways, Government of India dated 16^th October 2024 regarding Time Limit for Advance Rail Reservation.

As per the circular following with be the time limit for advance reservation with the Railways: -

1. With effect from 01 November 2024, the Advance Reservation will be 60 days (excluding the day of journey) and booking will be done accordingly. However, all bookings done upto 31^st October 2024 under ARP of 120 days will remain intact.
2. Cancellations of the bookings made beyond the ARP of 60 days will however will be permitted.
3. There will be no change in the case of certain day time express trains like Taj Express, Gomit Express etc. where lower time limit for advance reservations are at present in force.
4. There will also be no change in the case of limit of 365 day for Foreign Tourists.
