Sub: IHCL Special Promo Rates for IATO Members - IATO 2024 - Key Initiatives

This is further to our circular dated 13^th September 2024 regarding Additions in IATO Promo Special Rates for IATO Members which were announced by Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, CEO and MD, IHCL during the inaugural function of 39^th IATO Annual Convention on 30^th August 2024.   

We are delighted to inform you that  

1. The Inbound static rate contracts have been made from EP to CP, i.e. Breakfast has been added for all Inbound FIT business for the contracted hotels. This is now live and visible on IATO Booking Link and the IATO Special rates are mentioned as inclusive of buffet breakfast and continue to be on a net non-commissionable basis. 
2. Cancellation policy of Inbound FITs has been revised to make it competitive with online platforms. This revised policy strikes a balance between providing flexibility to travellers and maintaining the integrity of bookings, which is crucial for operational efficiency. Attached is the revised document with Terms & Conditions and this is now live and visible on your IATO Booking Link.

3. For all IATO agents, IHCL shall offer the option of booking on the Dynamic / BAR rates at an enhanced commission of 12.5% on the Best Available Rate. This initiative is also aligned with IHCL broader strategy to boost inbound travel, ensuring that our beautiful country remains a top destination for international travellers.  Please find attached the Special Dynamic Rate Contract along with the applicable Terms and Conditions pertaining to this exclusive new initiative rolled out for the IATO Fraternity. This option is also now live and available on the IATO booking link. While the norm is a 10% commission, when an IATO agent requests for a booking through this link, a 12.5% commission will be extended to them. 

Please note the following: -

1. Terms and conditions are attached.
2. New rates and terms and conditions will be applicable for the bookings made with effect from today and will not be applicable for the bookings already made on or before 24^th September 2024.
3. However new cancellation policy will be applicable on the bookings already made.
