Sub: Clarification regarding Re-Entry of foreign tourists into India through Land Border

Dear Friends,

A clarification was sought by one of members from FRRO Kolkata regarding re-entry of foreign tourists into India through Land Border holding e-Visa as this information is not available on the official website of Govt of India e-Tourist website:  https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html  E-tourist website does not clearly specify whether the foreign tourists can Re-enter India on their Existing E-visa endorsed on their passport. 

Following reply is received from FRRO, Kolkata, which is sell-explanatory.

As per existing Indian visa rules, holders of e-Visa can enter and re-enter India only through designated airports and seaports. The list is mentioned on their respective ETAs.
