IATO in association with ADTOI and IEIA is organising a comprehensive Half Day Workshop titled “EmpowerHER”: Financial Independence and Literacy Workshop on 1st August, 2024 from 0930 hours to 1500 hrs at Jacaranda Hall in India Habitat Center, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

This programme is  open to IATO  female members/senior management female staff  on first come first serve basis and there is no registration fee.  First 25 Women entrepreneurs from Management side are eligible to participate.

Objective:- The primary objective of the workshop is to equip women with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to manage their finances effectively, make informed financial decisions, and achieve financial independence.

Background and Rationale:- Despite significant strides in gender equality, many women still face challenges in achieving financial independence. Factors such as the gender pay gap, lower financial literacy levels, and limited access to financial resources contribute to this disparity. Empowering women financially is not only crucial for their personal growth and security but also beneficial for societal and economic development.

Workshop Components:-  The workshop will cover the following key areas:

•           Financial Literacy Basics: Understanding financial terminology, budgeting, and saving.

•           Investment Education: Introduction to investment options, risk management, and creating an investment plan.

•           Credit and Debt Management: How to use credit wisely, understanding credit scores, and strategies for managing and reducing debt.

•           Entrepreneurship and Business Finance: Basics of starting and managing a business, funding options, and financial planning for business growth.

•           Digital Financial Tools: Using digital banking, online financial services, and fintech solutions to manage finances efficiently.

The format to follow will be as below:

•           Government Officials: Setting the tone as Keynote and providing information on governmental support and programs for women.

•           Panel Discussions: Panels featuring women leaders sharing their experiences and strategies for financial success.

•           Q&A Sessions: Open forums for participants to ask questions and seek advice.

Members are requested to register for participation at the earliest considering the seats are limited to first 25 registered members only. Maximum two female staff from one company will be considered.
