Dear Respected Mehra ji,

Greetings from ITTA!

On behalf of the entire ITTA Managing Committee, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to you and your team for gracing the Get-Together yesterday, 10th June 2024, at Chelmsford Club. Your support and presence were instrumental in the event's success.

As discussed yesterday, we would request all IATO members to use transportation services exclusively from ITTA Members. Below are some benefits your members will enjoy by using vehicles from our members:

1.      All vehicles owned by our members (TTO) are duly registered with the Government authorities, hold valid documents, and have paid all due taxes.

2.      Vehicles provided by TTOs are in good and immaculate condition to serve the elite class.

3.      In case of a breakdown, replacement vehicles will be provided immediately or within the minimum possible time.

4.      Tourist vehicles, including cars and coaches provided by TTO, are comprehensively insured, covering unlimited Third Party and Passenger liability with a reputed insurance company, and claims, if any, are settled as per the law of the land.

5.      Drivers assigned by TTO will always be in clean and proper uniform, presentable, and well-groomed. They will carry all relevant documents, including valid driving license, badge, and all documents related to the tourist vehicle.

6.      Drivers will abide by all traffic rules and regulations, and in case of any offense, only the driver or the TTO will be responsible.

7.      TTO will use drivers and conductors who are on their payroll, except in an emergent situation or when vehicles are arranged from fellow transporters.

8.      Most of our members are recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. For other members, we grant memberships only after proper verification and recommendation. Thus, they are accountable to ITTA and MOT.

We suggest a joint meeting of ITTA and IATO MC to discuss this issue further.
