IATO always believes that trainings are integral part for sustainable tourism growth. Considering this, IATO has planned to conduct sessions of training programmes to hone the skills and enhance the learning curve of IATO members and their staff.

The first training programme is scheduled to be held on Saturday, the 2nd December, 2023. The topic of the programme is:

‘Tourism - The world of opportunities for Gen-X’. 

Today’s, Trainee Executives & Beginners would be tomorrow’s Sr. Managers & leader of the industry.  Hence, their foundation must be strong so that they are able to strengthen the organization as well as to create professional working atmosphere.

IATO is always concerned for greater foundation for Gen-X, therefore, the workshop contents are finalized as under:

First Half

1. Introduction to the Tourism Industry and its knowhow
2. Future Prospects for Tourism Industry in India and Worldwide
3. Activities and Emerging Streams in the Tourism industry
4. Career Prospects – Commercial and Government Agencies

Second Half

1. Tourism   know-how.
2. Brief global history of tourism.
3. Difference between 'Travel' & 'Tourism'
4. Factors that encourage or prohibit tourism development.
5. Time Management.
6. Steps to handle customer complaints.
7. Quiz time followed by Q&A.
