Dear Friends,

Sub: List of Proposed Fair/ Tourism Mart 2023-24 where Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India would be participating.

IATO has been writing to the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India that Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India should re-instate participation in International travel marts/fairs along with the stakeholders.

We have received below email from the Ministry of Tourism where Ministry of Tourism has given us a list fairs/tourism marts 2023-24 where Ministry of Tourism would be participating along with the stakeholders as co-exhibitors.

Ministry of Tourism would setup an Incredible India Pavilion which will have a common decor/ theme and all co-exhibitors in the India Pavilion will be provided fully built up booths / stalls, with provision for display of publicity material only within their own booths/ stalls. The minimum booth / stall space is 4 sq. mtrs. and in the event additional space is required, the same will be at a multiple of 4 sq. mtrs. The tentative fair listed for participation as follows:

Members are invited to participate in the above exhibition by booking space in the India Pavilion on a cost sharing basis with a view to marketing your tourism destinations and products. The participation fee in the India Pavilion will be conveyed in due course. The space will be offered to co-exhibitors on a first come first served basis.

Prospective participants co-exhibiting within the Indian Pavilion need to do the advance preparation in respect of visa and other requirements.

Dear Sir / Madam,

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India intent to participate in various fairs and festival during the period 2023-2024 so that the travel industry could benefit being co-exhibitors within the India Pavilion which will showcase the varied tourism destinations and products of the country.

Each and every fair invitation will be shared separately on the basis of the date of organizing of event.

These are international travel related events, which provides platform for networking and meetings with executives and leaders from all segments of the Tourism Industry, worldwide. These events also provide excellent opportunity for showcasing and sourcing new products and services and to learn about the latest international trends and patterns affecting tourism to various regions. The participants include National / Regional tourist organizations, tourist attractions, tour operators, transport operators, hotels, airlines, cruise liners, railways, technology and communications and other travel related services. The visitors profile mainly consists of tour operators, travel agents, group travel organizers, etc., providing ample opportunity for promoting tourism related products and services. The Ministry of Tourism is planning a series of sessions on various themes during these fairs and festival during the period 2023-2024.

These fairs and festival, being one of the leading travel expo in the world where businesses are made through appointments and networking. It is imperative that confirmation of participation is conveyed expeditiously so as to ensure that participants do not miss out on appointments with trade partners, which is the most important component of the trade show.

The above information may be widely disseminated to all members of your associations who may be requested to confirm their participation at the earliest along with your space requirement. You are also requested to intimate to the prospective participants co-exhibiting within the Indian Pavilion to do the advance preparation in respect of visa and other requirements.
