Sub: Presentation by Income Tax Department during Outreach Programme on TCS provisions for Overseas Tour Packages on 15th June 2023.

The Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, New Delhi had organized an Outreach Programme on TCS provisions for overseas tour packages on 15th June 2023 at  Ayakar Bhawan, Laxmi Nagar District Centre, Delhi-110092. This programme was organized exclusively for IATO members, which was attended by our President along with 27 members. We had requested the Joint Commissioner of Income Tax to organize such programme in future also for the benefit of our members.

During the above Outreach Programme on 15th June, a power-point presentation was made by the Income Tax Department on TCS on Sale of Overseas Tour Programme Packages. A copy of the presentation is attached for members reference and clarification.

During the programme certain queries were raised by IATO and its members and we have requested the Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, New Delhi to obtain clarification from CBDT and then clarify the same to us with FAQ. We shall circulate the same once received from the Income Tax department.
