A meeting of the Office Bearers was called by the Returning Officer today on 13th March 2023 at 3 pm at the IATO office for opening the nominations forms for the forthcoming IATO Elections to be held on 18th April 2023.

NOMINATIONS REJECTED:- Following nominations were rejected:-

1.    Mr. Kamlesh Hemchand Lalan – Ravine Trek- Nomination for Hony. Joint Secretary rejected as has not served as EC Member under clause 11 (F) of IATO Memorandum of Association and Rules & Regulations

2.    Mr. V.K.T. Balan, Madura Travel Service Pvt. Ltd. –Rejected as received through email and not in sealed envelope as per IATO Circular dated 3rd March 2023

3.    Mr. Rajesh Vira, Jash Holidays & Memoriies – Rejected as has not completed two years of IATO Membership under clause 11 (C)  

Please note that last date for withdrawal of nominations is 18th March 2023 by 3 pm in a sealed envelope.

It is observed that some of the candidates have filed their nominations for more than one post. All such candidates should retain their nomination form only for one post of which they wish to contest and must withdraw their nomination from rest of the post(s) by 3 pm on 18th March 2023. The withdrawal can be sent only in writing on the company’s letter head in a sealed envelope.

In case such multiple nominations for different posts are not withdrawn by the above given dead line and if more than one nominations are still there after the dead line, all such nominations will be treated as invalid.
