Sub: Clarification on Guidelines for International Arrivals dated 29th December 2022 issued by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt.  of India

Please ref our circular sent to you on 30th December 2022 wherein we had sent you the attached Guidelines for International Arrivals dated 29th December 2022 issued by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt.  of India, which are self-explanatory. (attached)

As per the guidelines,

i. All travellers should preferably be fully vaccinated as per the approved primary schedule of vaccination against COVID-19 in their Country.

ii. Additional requirements apply to passengers in all international flights from certain high risk countries High Risk i.e. China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Republic of Korea, Thailand and Japan. Such travellers would be required to:

a. Submit complete and factual information in self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal (newdelhiairport.in) before the scheduled travel, including last 14 days’ travel details.

b. Upload negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report** on the Air Suvidha portal (The test should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to undertaking the journey).

c. Each passenger shall also submit a declaration with respect to authenticity of the report and will be liable for criminal prosecution, if found otherwise.

d. They should also give an undertaking on the portal or otherwise to Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, through concerned airlines before they are allowed to undertake the journey that they would abide by the decision of the appropriate government authority for any post arrival requirement including home/institutional quarantine/ self-health monitoring, as warranted

This is to clarify that the above guidelines are applicable to all the travelers even if they are transiting through these six high risk countries China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Republic of Korea, Thailand and Japan. All travelers transiting through these countries need to follow the guidelines and need to submit complete information and declaration on Air Suvidha Portal  and upload the negative COVID-19 PT-PRR report on Air Suvidha Portal.

Members are advised to update their foreign counterparts/travelers accordingly.
