Sub: Seminar on ‘Standards for Tourism Sector’ on Tuesday, 29 March 2016 in the Auditorium, BIS, New Delhi.
 
Bureau of India Standards (BIS), with active cooperation from Ministry of Tourism, is organizing a seminar on ‘Standards for Tourism Sector’ on Tuesday, 29 March 2016 in the Auditorium, BIS, New Delhi. The objective of the seminar is to bring different stakeholders in this sector on a common platform to understand the current scenario and identify potential areas and the subjects on which standards are required. The Seminar will also facilitate in identifying stakeholder experts who could be engaged in development of such standards.  
 
The half day seminar (0930 -1400 hrs) will begin with the inaugural session, followed by presentations of 5-6 professionals familiar with the industry needs. The last session will be a panel discussion involving industry experts/ stakeholders. The Venue of the Seminar is Manak Bhawan, 9 Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi-110012
