Focused Sessions
- Culture and Creative Economics : The use of industry 4.0 technologies opens new opportunities for the creative economy. Harnessing the economic potential of the Indigenous arts sector is key to develop employment, building infrastructure, preserving heritage and taking it to the global platforms. Arts must be seen as a tool for Tourism and Economic Development and for this to happen we need to focus on key areas which, include desired changes in policy and revoking at the multiplicity of rules and regulations that make this industry difficult to navigate.
- Brand India : India’s Soft Power: Leveraging India’s diversity and culture
Even as India plays a greater role on the worlds stage and positions itself as a country of note, an economic giant and a young demographic which represents diversity and inclusivity, there are challenges in highlighting the immense possibilities that culture and tradition represents in creating innovation and future growth opportunities.
- India: Future Destination for MICE Tourism & Festivals : MICE tourism and Festivals are one of the key revenue spinners of travel and tourism economy in modern times. India’s contribution to the MICE pie has been growing considerably in the past few years. However, old bottlenecks, in the form of inadequate infrastructure, support facilities and passive promotions continue to impede.
