6th November 2022

To All Members.

Dear Colleagues,

Sub: Withdrawal of GRAP Order dated 3rd November 2022 by CAQM, NCR and Adjoining Areas.

As you are aware, Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas vide order No. 120017/27/GRAP/2021/CAQM/ 378 dated 3rd November 2022 banned plying of Diesel Vehicles in NCT of Delhi and Districts of NCR Bordering Delhi, except BS-VI vehicles and vehicles used for essential/emergency services. This had resulted all BS IV tourist vehicles i.e. Coaches, Tempo Travelers and Innova etc. having All India Tourist Permit were being stopped at the Delhi Border and they were not being allowed to enter Delhi.

The matter was taken up with His Excellency Lt. Governor of Delhi yesterday with copy to Secretary, Tourism, Govt. of India requesting that all BS IV tourist coaches, Tempo travellers, Toyota Innova etc. having All India Tourism Permit may kindly be allowed to ply in Delhi and NCR so that we are able to provide services to tourists especially foreign tourists to avoid any negative publicity about our country abroad.

However, you will be pleased to know that GRAP Order dated 3rd November 2022 has been revoked and all BS IV Diesel vehicle can run in Delhi without any restriction.

Copy of GRAP order dated 3rd November and dated 6th November 2022 is attached for your reference.

With best wishes,

Rajiv Mehra

President
