The Conference will be addressing two important aspects of Travel & Tourism of our country.

  • The crucial role India is playing as a Global Medical & Wellness Tourism Destination of the world.
  • The emergence of Homestays as a preferable mode of accommodation for the Tourists and its importance as a growth accelerator for Travel & Tourism Industry of India. 

The event will receive participation from Policy makers and Industry Leaders from the Travel, Tourism & Hospitality and will be an ideal platform for Knowledge Sharing & Business Networking, helping to chart out an action plan to further strengthen the Travel & Tourism ecosystem of India.

Over the years, India has become a premier and attractive destination for travellers from across the globe to attain best-in-class clinical treatment. The Government of India has recognized the medical value travel and wellness travel as important sectors having the potential of accelerating the country’s development and attaining the objective of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is collaborating with Tourism, Ayush, Civil Aviation Ministries, Ministry of External Affairs, hospitals, and other stakeholders to boost medical travel industry and is dedicated to make India as # 1 hub for Medical and Wellness Tourism globally, inviting the world to “Heal in India”. The session will have distinguished panel of experts to deliberate on India’s capabilities to offer world class preventive and curative health care solutions and popularize the indigenous medicine systems and wellness regimes practiced in India for physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. The session would also highlight the potential of various States to attract visitors for medical value travel and wellness offerings.
