Sub: 37th IATO Annual Convention to take place in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in December 2022.  

Dear Friends,

You will be pleased to know that the 37th IATO Annual Convention has been finalised and will be held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in December 2022. Dates and venue of the convention are being finalised in consultation with Uttar Pradesh Tourism and will be announced soon.

We will be back in Lucknow after a gap of 26 years and it will be an excellent opportunity for our members to see the improved and developed infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh. The last IATO Convention in Lucknow was held in 1996 and there are so many new hotels have come up in Lucknow and other cities which will give insight of the facilities and development of infrastructure to the tour operators promoting the state amongst foreign and domestic travellers. Also the added attraction would be post tour to Ram Temple at Ayodhya which in due course of time our members would be aggressively promoting globally.

Uttar Pradesh will be the host state and we have been assured full support from Shri. Mukesh Kumar Meshram, Principal Secretary & Director General – Tourism, Department of Tourism, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh,

We would like to thank on behalf of our members, the Hon’ble Tourism Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Jaivir Singh, for giving us an opportunity to hold our convention in Lucknow. I also would like to thank Shri. Mukesh Kumar Meshram, Principal Secretary & Director General – Tourism, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh for accepting our request.

We are grateful to our Secretary Tourism Shri Arvind Singh who was very instrumental to have our convention in Uttar Pradesh.

Now the Covid situation is under full control in our country and there is no fear of Corona and we need to convey this to the world. Therefore, we want participation of each and every member in the convention, which will give a clear message and create confidence in the minds of travellers that we are back to normal. We want over 1000 delegate from all over the country to join for this convention. 

After the convention, various Post Convention Tours would be organized, which would be of great interest for our members.

We request maximum and larger participation from the members and request all our members to block their diary once the dates are informed to the members, which will be announced soon.
