Sub: Dekho Apna Desh Webinar on 4^th June 2022 on Adventure, Nature and Spiritualism – Destination Himalayas. 

Next episode of Dekho Apna Desh Webinar is being organised by the Ministry on Saturday, the 4^th June 2022 at 1100 hours on Adventure, Nature and Spiritualism – Destination Himalayas which will be followed by a quiz. 

The speaker of this webinar is SHRI DEBABRATA MUKHERJEE, who is the only Heritage Guide of India to climb Mt. EVEREST that too as the oldest Indian Mountaineer to climb from the difficult Tibetan side of that coveted peak.  DEBABRATA MUKHERJEE is the only international apex body of Mountaineering UIAA trained Adventure Guide. A Life time GOLD MEDAL National awardee of the Indian Mountaineering, he is an active guide, and also a selector and Mentor of the National mountaineering team.

As you are aware that Ministry of Tourism organizes Dekho Apna Desh Webinar sessions under various schemes and topics every Saturday. On coming Saturday 4th June 2022 at 1100 hrs, we are going to present Episode No. 28 on topic, "Adventure, Nature and Spiritualism – Destination Himalayas".  Born from the ocean floor the ‘Himalay' is the youngest mountain range of the world. We can easily ascribe India as the ‘Gift of the Himalayas' as it protects her from the harsh cold and dry wind of the Tibetan plain. Stops the monsoon clouds to rain and provide the water for the irrigation. In recent years its Spiritual importance is becoming equal with its Adventure tourism possibility.
