Dear Friends,
We are pleased to inform you that on IATO recommendation Pondicherry University has agreed to start the MBA-Tourism course through Distance Education mode (Correspondence). The duration of the course is two years (four semesters).
Eligibility Criteria: Any degree from a UGC recognized University under 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 or 11+2+2 streams.
The total fee for two years program is ? 24,925, payable in four instalments. At the time of admission ? 9925 & ? 5000 in three equal instalments in three semesters.
The members who are interested to join MBA-Tourism may apply online.
A. Fill-up the online Admission form in the DDE portal of Pondicherry University Website https://dde.pondiuni.edu.in/online-admission/ and get registered by paying ? 200 as Registration and Processing Fee.
B. Ensure that all the columns in the application form are filled-in, and avoid typo errors.
C. Upload Passport size photo, digital signature and other necessary documents.
D. Complete the online certificate verification process as per the time schedule intimated by DDE
E. After successful verification, you have to pay the I semester/ year fee online by logging in to your dashboard.
· Fee once remitted will not be considered for refund except under circumstances mentioned in the statutes, the ordinances of the University, circulars and notices issued from time to time.
· Keep the following documents ready for online verification
• Online admission form Print out
• Original ¬ Degree/ Provisional Certificate (for PG Courses only)
• Consolidated Mark Statement of Degree (for PG Courses only)
• HSC (+2) Mark sheet
• SSLC (10th Std) Mark sheet
• Aadhaar card
• Certificate from Competent authority for fee concession, if any
F. Upload a photocopy of the graduation degree & final year mark sheet duly self-attested, and mention your company name with company seal.
G. Fee Concession
100% Concession in respect of Tuition fee alone is extended to differently-abled persons.
50% Concession in respect of Tuition fee alone is extended to Widows
A person could avail of the benefit under any one of the aforesaid categories only. Such candidates should upload the certificate of proof from the Competent Authority as proof to avail of the concession. Applications sent without the necessary proof will not be considered for the concession.
As you all are aware that to get MOT approval or renewal, we must have one person with a degree/Master or Diploma qualification resource in our organization.
