The coming session is on 19th March 2022 at 1100-1200 hrs, Episode No. 21 on “Hoysala and Jain Temples of Karnataka”. Hoysala temples are among the finest in Indian art and architecture. Built between 10th and 13th centuries hoysala art and architecture is unique in its expression and range in sculptures. Hoysalas who were jains to begin with, converted to Vishnavism. Hoysalas have built temples for Vishnu, Shiva and other manifestations of Vishnu.
