Sub: The World Expo Dubai – Live streaming of sessions on Tourism moderated and presented by IATO.

 

As you are aware, the World Expo Dubai is presently being held in Dubai wherein our Ministry of Tourism inaugurated tourism week on 3rd January 2022. IATO was given the responsibility to participate physically by the Ministry of Tourism to Moderate two important sessions including the power point presentation, however due to ongoing surge in Covid cases it was decided to hold it virtually.

 

Placed below please find the details on the sessions:- 

 

6th January 2022 (Thursday) at 1630 hours  – Session on Incredible India: Fascinating experiences of royal legacies. This session will be moderated and presented by Mr. Pronab Sarkar, Immediate Past President IATO with a presentation on the subject.

 

The session on luxury tourism would focus on showcasing the changing face of luxury tourism in India, luxury tourist destinations around India and their unique attractions and initiatives taken by Government to make travel safe and secure. Cities offering best luxury experience and discussion on hotels, resorts and palaces including their showcase.

 

8th January 2022 (Saturday) at 1600 hours – Session on Discover Incredible India - Connecting with Culture, Heritage and Spirituality. This session will be moderated and presented by Mr. Ravi Gosain, Vice President, IATO with a presentation on the subject.

 

The session will highlight various aspects of cultural, heritage and spiritual offerings of India, how experiences can be curated to meet the needs of customers. How can international tourists get best out of cultural offerings of the country and have immersive and memorable experience? How better connectivity and infrastructure has opened up many more destinations. How Industry is adopting to digital technologies and responsible tourism for providing a convenient and meaningful experience to the tourists. How tourism is helping preserve and enhance some of the cultural and heritage attractions. It will also highlight the preparedness of India as a safe destination post COVID-19.

 

The sessions will be recorded and livestreaming will be done on YouTube.
