Sub: Special Instructions for Delegates of 36th IATO Annual Convention returning from abroad

 

This is to request all our members and delegates who are attending the 36th IATO Annual Convention and have returned from the High Risk Countries as earmarked by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in its guidelines dated 30th November 2021,  should follow certain guidelines of MoHFW.

 

Travelers from specified Countries at risk (list given below) will follow the protocol as detailed below:-

 

•             Submission of sample for post-arrival COVID-19 test* at the point of arrival. Such travelers will be required to wait for their test results at the arrival airport before leaving or taking a connecting flight.

•             If tested negative they will follow, home quarantine for 7 days. Re-test on the 8th day of arrival in India* and if negative, further self-monitor of their health for next 7 days.

Above is not only mandatory for all travellers returning from high risk countries as per MoHFW guidelines, but is in the interest and safety of all other delegates and their spouses who are attending the convention, hence must be followed.
