As you are aware that Ministry of Tourism organizes Dekho Apna Desh Webinar sessions under various schemes and topics every Saturday at 1100 - 1200 hrs. On 13th Nov, 2021, the topic of the webinar session will be "Dev Diwali", an auspicious festival that has great importance in Hinduism. Dev Deepawali is also referred to as Dev Diwali because it is believed to be the Deepavali celebrated by the gods to mark the victory of Lord Shiva over demon Tripurasur. Hence, to welcome the Gods, ghats are decorated with millions of earthen lamps on the day of Dev Diwali.
