Dr. Prof. (Dr). M n Venkatesha - Prof. M.N. Venkatesha is presently working as Professor and Head  of the Department of Folklore and Tribal Studies, Dravidian University Kuppam Andhra Pradesh, India. He also served as Registrar (Evaluation) of Karnataka Folklore University. He has got his Ph.D Degree from Kuvempu University on a folkloristic topic 'Mailara fair: performance study'. He has authored 12 books, edited 6 books, translated 2 books and published more than 50 Research papers and presented more than 110 research papers in various conferences. He is an expert in Performance Analysis and studies on Oral Epics of India. He has also served as board of Studies member of various universities of South India. His association with Prof. Peter J. Claus of USA and Dr. Carnelia Mallebrien of Germany during their field research are worth mentioned. He has got prestigious Vijayeendra award for Translation of Roque mesquta's Works on 'Madhwa Philosophy'. He is Vice President of FOSSILS, and Founder President of IFRO.

India Tourism offices in India and overseas are requested to circulate the above amongst the tour operators, opinion makers, etc. in the area of their jurisdiction.
