Restoration of E-Visa for Business, Medical, Medical Attendant and Conference
As you are aware that IATO has been constantly writing to the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Home Affairs to restore E-Visa or at least announce the date so that we can inform our counterparts abroad accordingly. We also had discussed this issue with Hon'ble Tourism Minister, Secretary Tourism and ADG Tourism personally and were assured their full support.
With all our efforts, Ministry of Home Affairs Vide MHA's O.M. No. 25022/28/2020-F.I dated 30.03.2021, e-Visa for Business, Medical, Medical Attendant and Conference has been restored with immediate effect.

We will continue our follow-up with the MOT/MHA for restoring of E-Tourist Visa. We have also requested to open e-Tourist Visa on reciprocal basis for nationals of those countries who are allowing Indian Tourists to visit their country and we hope this will be considered favourably with aggressive vaccination programme being run globally.
